We’re seeking qualified and experienced Early Childhood Education professionals to join our contractor pool to conduct Structured Workplace Learning and Assessment (SWLA) visits for our students. 

In this role, you’ll visit learners in their workplace to observe and assess their practical skills, ensuring they meet competency standards. You’ll also liaise with workplace supervisors to verify the learner’s abilities and provide feedback to support their success. Work is assigned as needed, and visits may be infrequent or occur in clusters depending on demand in your area.

What you’ll do: 

  • Visit learners in their workplace to assess skills and competencies in person. 
  • Observe and verify that tasks are completed to required standards. 
  • Communicate with workplace supervisors to confirm student performance. 
  • Complete and submit assessment documentation in a timely manner. 

Qualifications:

What you’ll bring: 

  • Relevant Early Childhood Education qualifications (minimum Certificate IV, Diploma preferred). 
  • Current vocational competence and industry currency in Early Childhood Education. 
  • Assessing experience or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent). 
  • Ability to travel locally to workplaces for assessment visits.
