You’ll be out on the road whatever the weather, but you’ll never have to fight over the radio station, and you can sing along as loud as you like! In return, we use our automated technology to pre-plan your route and pre-load your van so you can concentrate on delivering joy!

Your weekend role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our teams on a weekend-only basis, perfect for those seeking a consistent part-time schedule. You will work 2 x 8-hour shifts across Saturday and Sunday (Please note we are unable to hire anyone already working more than 3 days a week)

What we need from you:

You don’t need any previous experience to join our good-natured team, just bring yourself and a positive attitude, and our amazing training team will do the rest!

Driving licence requirements:

  • Full UK or EU driving licence.
  • Minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

 

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply. As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

  • Our friendly recruitment team will get in touch to conduct an Online Licence Check and Right to Work Checks.
  • You will be invited to take a tour of the site, giving you the opportunity to meet the team for a question-and-answer session.
  • We will run a Disclosure Barring System check (DBS).
  • Once all checks are completed, you will be offered the role and your career with Ocado Logistics will start!

 

Contract & Pay Details:

  • Contract Type: Permanent, Weekend Part-Time
  • Contract Hours: 16 hours per week (including paid breaks) for every weekend.
  • Contracted Days: Saturday and Sunday only. (Please note we are unable to hire anyone already working more than 3 days a week)
  • Pay Structure: The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.

 

Hourly Pay Rates:

  • Saturday 6am to 6pm: £13.26
  • Saturday Evening 6pm to midnight: £14.38
  • Sunday 6am to 6pm: £14.59
  • Sunday Evening 6pm to midnight: £15.82
