Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and customer-focused Wax Specialist to join our beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in body waxing, providing exceptional service to clients in a professional and hygienic environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic salon setting, utilizing advanced skincare and cosmetic techniques to enhance client satisfaction and beauty goals.

Duties

  • Perform body waxing services with precision and care, ensuring client comfort and safety
  • Assist clients with skincare consultations and recommend suitable treatments based on individual needs
  • Maintain proper sanitation and sterilization of all tools and work areas in accordance with health regulations
  • Utilize salon software for appointment management
  • Promote retail sales of skincare products
  • Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client inquiries professionally
  • Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge to provide the best possible service
  • Must work at least 5 shifts per week including 1 weekend day (Sat./Sun.)

Skills

  • Licensure in cosmetology or esthetics required
  • Proven experience in body waxing preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Familiarity with sanitation protocols is required
  • Ability to perform retail sales effectively while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
