Warehouse Order Picker

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team. This position is on-site at our Food Distribution Centre in Edmonton, AB.

What you’ll do:

  • Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
  • May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided)
  • Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
  • Shift available:
    • FT - Sunday to Thursday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm.
    • May have PT opportunities

      *All new hires, whether full-time or part-time, must complete two weeks of full-time training and orientation*

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor, Warehouse Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

  • Have verbal communication skills, and you are comfortable using a headset.
  • Are able to work in the freezer when required.
  • Are able to physically lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
  • Are able to perform shift work potentially including evenings and weekends.
  • Believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.

  • A starting salary of $18.44 rising to $19.32 after probation with future increases determined by the applicable Collective Agreement.
