Job Description:

Builder Depot are one of the leading Independent Builders Merchants in the UK. Our developing E-commerce department (based at the largest branch in New Southgate) is dedicated to providing a fast and efficient click-and-collect process for our customers.

The role is focused on warehouse operations, order picking, packing, and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our Click & Collect services
  • Ensuring orders are accurately picked, based on quantity and quality requirements.
  • Packing orders following high quality standards.
  • Labelling orders correctly ready for dispatch via our various carrier network partners.
  • Handling materials with care to prevent damage or loss.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely, controlled and recorded manner.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
  • Previous experience working within a builders merchants and be familiar with warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication skills (fluent in verbal & written English)
  • Self motivated with a positive attitude
  • A team player who has the ability to work unsupervised
  • Able to safely carry out manual handling tasks on a daily basis capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads.
  • Ability to maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the working area(s).

Compensation:

  • Salary: From £13.00 per hour
  • Working Schedule:

5 days a Week

Weekend coverage on rota basis required.
