Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Oversee inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as AS400 or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate logistics operations with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely distribution and delivery.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution, materials handling, and heavy lifting procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Manage forklift operation and mechanical equipment to facilitate safe and effective materials handling.
  • Monitor shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and perform cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
  • Support the integration of e-commerce order fulfillment processes into warehouse workflows for seamless customer service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a fast-paced distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (including AS400), logistics, and warehouse management best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with forklift operation, heavy lifting, and materials handling equipment.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols in warehousing settings.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
  • Ability to implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency.
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and managing shipping & receiving functions.
