Warehouse Associate (ID #417273)

Job Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team at a leading lighting company. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping lighting products to ensure smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be efficient, capable of handling materials with care, and possess a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming products from suppliers. Ensure correct quantities and quality of items. Accurately label and store products according to proper inventory organization.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct items and quantities are selected based on customer orders.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate the timely shipment and delivery of products. Ensure all outbound and inbound shipments are documented and tracked.
  • Stock Maintenance: Maintain organized shelving and inventory storage. Perform regular stock counts and assist in inventory audits.
  • Material Handling: Use appropriate equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move materials within the warehouse. Ensure safe and efficient handling of all lighting products.
  • Product Safety & Quality: Ensure that all products are handled, stored, and shipped in compliance with safety regulations. Report damaged or defective products to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. Assist with training new staff as needed.
  • Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company policies and OSHA safety standards. Keep aisles and work areas free of clutter and hazards.
  • Qualifications:
    • Prior warehouse experience preferred, especially in lighting, electrical, or related industries.
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor.
    • Familiarity with warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
    • Basic knowledge of inventory management software (preferred but not required).
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety.
  • Physical Demands:

    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
