Warehouse and Delivery Job Description

Full Time, Non-Exempt

NSAR Ind., LLC dba Chinaberry Tree Linens

General Summary: The warehouse and delivery will be responsible in day-to-day operations. This position's primary responsibility is ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers, operating a forklift in the warehouse, maintaining inventory control procedures, running in the receiving of shipping containers and inventory, and maintaining the organization and effectiveness of the warehouse. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

· Running warehouse and delivery Safety, Correct and Efficiency.

· Delivery of Goods correctly, efficiency with excellent customer service

· Inventory Control

· Receiving of Inventory Shipments

· Strategic Input.

· Risk Management.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

· Maintain highest level of safety standards of operation, persons, wareshouse, goods, vehicles and tools: analysis the coming risks and avoid it.

· Open, close warehouse, make sure warehouse is operating under all safety procedures, organized, neat and clean, and correctly.

· Coordinate and execute delivery of goods to customers with excellent service

· Control inventory.

· Operate a forklift in warehouse to move and store pallets of inventory

· Regularly maintain the forklift, vans, trucks, pallet jack... and all the relevant tools, vehicles and equipment’s.

· Regularly clean and organize warehouse and goods.

· Utilize financial data to improve efficiency.

· Execute processes and policies in support of organizational goals.

· Implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.

· Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.

· Input data into company software

· Facilitate coordination and communication between staff, customers, at all levels.

· Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.

· Outlined, Implement and manage operational plans

· All relevance in warehouse and delivery operations as needed

· Other duties as assigned.

REPORTING:

Reports directly to the Warehouse Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

A valid driver’s license, forklift operating certification, and warehouse experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires work outside of the office environment. Use of personal vehicle may be required. A valid driver’s license and background check is required.
