Visual Merchandising Manager, Southeast Outlet

<p><strong>Who You Are: </strong></p><p>The Manager, Visual Merchandising is responsible for supporting our outlet stores across the southeast region to develop innovative and creative solutions that drive sales and support divisional strategies. Accountable for managing all VM store training, communication and best practice processes designed to drive brand consistency and excellence.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p><p><strong>TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT</strong></p><ul><li>Support the development and rollout of all VM training tools and videos that can be leveraged by both the North America and Global Teams.</li><li>Facilitate both instructor-led and virtual webinar sessions.</li><li>Identify and nuture field-based talent through clear communication and feedback methods.</li></ul><p><strong>IN-STORE EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>Formulate VM Action Plans to support regional sales targets.</li><li>Identify and execute ideas designed to elevate product presentations.</li><li>Support with the execution of VM instore projects, initiatives, and provide feedback to cross-functional partners.</li><li>Develop strong partnerships with Field Leadership and Corporate Office to identify both short term (Monthly) and long term (Quarterly) store sales opportunities.</li><li>Support with new store openings and refits.</li><li>Identify regional Concept Door locations. Test and measure the success of key trials prior to sharing with wider VM Team.</li></ul><p><strong>STRATEGIC PLANNING</strong></p><ul><li>Lead all aspects of the planning and execution of VM initiatives.</li><li>Conduct regular joint visits with the Retail District Managers to identify key VM / Product opportunities in store.</li><li>Manage floor plans in partnership with Store Design, ensuring all floor plans are accurate and available for store teams.</li><li>Support the setup during each seasonal market for the division in partnership with Merchandising Team.</li><li>Support stores with monthly sales floor mapping for the implementation of new VM guidelines.</li><li>Uphold photo compliance to ensure stores are consistent with MK Visual Standards.</li></ul><p><strong>COMMUNICATION</strong></p><ul><li>Positively communicate and actively demonstrate the Brand Values and MK Mission.</li><li>Provide leadership and direction to stores to ensure they are complient with all Visual Merchandising initiatives and everyday standards.</li><li>Leverage multiple communication vehicles (conference calls, webinars, coaching conversations) to ensure that store teams understand visual direction.</li><li>Ability to link both VM Corporate and Field Leadership Teams to ensure all Visual Communications content fits the needs of our stores and any future improvements can be captured.</li><li>Aware of all intranet communication, current advertising, promotions, and other marketing initiatives, and providing the appropriate way to communicate to all relevant parties.</li><li>Submit creative monthly Comp Shop Presentations to drive future innovation concepts in the field.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:</strong></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)</li><li>Minimum 3-5 years Visual Merchandising</li><li>Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) preferred, but not required</li><li>Strong photography skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Capable to lift 50lbs</li><li>Valid driver’s license</li><li>Ability to travel 50-80% of the time and manage a flexible schedule based on business needs</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>WE’D LOVE TO SEE:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong visual merchandising skills and ability to drive business through creativity.</li><li>Understanding of how to interpret visual guidelines in-store or on site.</li><li>Ability to think and work strategically; able to plan ahead and foresee opportunities.</li><li>Resourceful, creative and solution-oriented.</li><li>Detailed oriented while able to handle multiple tasks.</li><li>Understanding of how effective visual strategies and standards drive the overall customer experience</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>MK Perks: </strong></p><ul><li>Generous Paid Time Off & Holiday Calendar</li><li>Summer Fridays</li><li>Internal Mobility Across Brands</li><li>Cross-brand Discount</li><li>Exclusive Employee Sales</li><li>Fav 5 Cards (MK Discount for friends and family)</li><li>401k Match</li><li>Paid Parental Leave</li><li>Thrive Wellness Program</li><li>Commuter Benefits</li><li>Gym Discounts</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>The Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
