This position is for an Data Analyst entry level role in the arenaflex Global Network & Technology organization. In this role you are responsible for assisting with leveraging big data tools and programming frameworks to ensure that the raw data gathered from data pipelines are redefined as data science models that are ready to scale as needed You will be responsible for: Support the implementation of data science prototypes. Analyze and gather input in areas including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, and data storage, security, artificial intelligence, natural language processing, UI design, and mobile. Evaluating and testing various alternative approaches and recommending the path forward. Performing analytics, modeling and data mining to develop insights on our business. Develop one's skill set and staying up-to-date on developments in the field. Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods. You must be currently enrolled in a degree program and be in good academic standing to be considered. In this hybrid full time position, you ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. This hybrid role will be based out of Richardson, TX. You ll need to have: Currently enrolled at UT Dallas and attending the career fair on 2/23. Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship. Current enrollment in a Bachelor s or Master s degree majoring in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or related majors with a completion date of June 2024. Coursework or demonstrated experience in SQL. Coursework or experience in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and/or Business Analytics. Willingness to travel and work in Richardson, TX. Even better if you have one or more of the following: Demonstrated strong written and communication skills. Experience working with arenaflex Office and/or arenaflex Suite Product development or analytics experience in the technology sector. SQL, SQL, Editor for Oracle experience. Familiarity with data visualization software. Ideally, COGNOS or Tableau. Working knowledge of scripting languages. Ideally, Python or Perl. Ability to work with/in Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Deep Learning Networks, Natural Language Processing or Computer Vision, Recommender Systems, Python, and/or Software/ML Tools.
