Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable, delivery & retail personnel to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of sorting mail and packages to designated routes or distribution duties within the office. All roles require strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job. As a Postal Employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our community receives their mail accurately and on time.

Duties

  • Deliver mail and packages along assigned routes in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Operate delivery vehicles
  • Load and unload mail from vehicles, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks for heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Utilize electronic equipment for accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations while driving and handling mail.
  • Assist with sorting and organizing mail at the distribution center as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is beneficial
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with moving mail and packages.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for delivery positions
  • Experience operating electronic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate delivery records.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential for this role.
