Job title: Trainer and Virtual Property Manager Company: Horizon Management Services Job description: This position is located in WI or northern IL. While you have remote work flexibility you are required to visit properties and the corporate office on a routine basis. This position encompasses three areas of responsibilities: property office operations training, virtual property management and support/lead special projects. Trainer role (50%): Shall develop, plan, organize, deliver, and direct a wide range of training activities for the site property office staff. Shall conduct on-boarding and arrange on-the-job training for staff. Will support staff to maintain and improve their job skills and prepare for changing requirements and expectations of property operations. Training areas shall include but not limited to leasing, marketing outreach, technology, and Horizon process/procedures. Virtual Property Manager role (40%): Shall be responsible for the overall management of assigned properties without an on-site office. This position shall manage incoming leads, coordinate property advertising, work closely with properties to improve vacancy, manage property social media and apts.com. Special Projects (10%): Shall work with a variety of internal teammates beyond manager such as property staff, shared services team, Regional Managers, and the President on assigned projects. As needed, shall work at site properties to assist. Shall work closely with the leasing and marketing manager to maintain up-to-date website information, help coordinate turnover of new lease arenaflex, assists in market comp analysis. This position will support the President in the on/off boarding of properties to ensure the smooth transition of leadership. Education and Work Experience: • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience • Prior property management experience required • Prior training experience development and delivery helpful • Fair Housing training preferred Technology: • Intermediate arenaflex Suite abilities • Experience in Property Management Database preferred Other: • Valid driver's license with insurance. • Reliable transportation • Must have flexibility to work varied schedules specifically during lease-up such as evenings and weekends or assigned properties urgencies.
