What You Can Expect Leads the internal delivery and adoption of artificial intelligence initiatives across Zimmer Biomet globally. Responsible for directing AI engineering teams to deliver focused, measurable business value using ZB’s internal AI platforms, processes, and frameworks. Partners closely with business and functional leadership, ensuring AI assistants and agents are effectively embedded into workflows—reimagining how work gets done and enabling a more flexible, responsive organization. How You'll Create Impact • Leads end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives from intake through production and adoption. • Translates business priorities into actionable AI delivery plans with clear outcomes. • Coordinates global AI engineering teams to deliver against defined milestones and value targets. • Maintains hands-on technical fluency with AI architectures, including RAG, foundation models, and agent-based systems. • Sets technical direction and standards for AI implementations using Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and related frameworks. • Guides teams working with MCP servers and internal AI platform components. • Partners with business leaders to redesign workflows using AI assistants and agents. • Ensure AI solutions are embedded directly into day-to-day operations—not delivered as standalone tools • Drives outcomes that increase organizational flexibility, speed, and productivity. • Ensures AI tools are intuitive, trusted, and valuable for employees. • Collaborates on change management, training, and adoption strategies to support workforce growth. • Gathers user feedback to improve AI effectiveness and usability. • Ensures AI initiatives adhere to internal governance frameworks and external regulatory expectations. • Supports auditability, traceability, and responsible AI practices across all implementations. • Partners with QA/RA, security, privacy, and risk teams to manage AI-related risks. What Makes You Stand Out • Experience deploying internal AI copilots or agents for enterprise use • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, audit requirements, and model risk management • Experience supporting global teams across multiple regions and time zones • Demonstrated experience delivering AI solutions at enterprise scale • Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive stakeholders • Hands-on experience with: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAC) architectures Foundation models and agent-based systems Python, LangChain, LangGraph MCP server and associated AI infrastructure Your Background • Preferred Qualification: 7+ years of experience in technical project management, AI delivery, or software engineering leadership • Preferred Qualification: Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., MedTech, healthcare, finance, or similarly regulated industries) • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience • Preferred Qualification: Experience deploying internal AI copilots or agents for enterprise use Travel Expectations • Up to 15% Expected Compensation - $140,000-$175,000 base salary.
