Supply Chain & Materials Lead - London

Bond Williams are supporting an innovative medical device start-up in London in the search for a Supply Chain & Materials Lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring all materials required for pilot manufacturing are available, controlled and fully traceable from receipt through to finished product shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement of materials required for pilot manufacturing
  • Coordinate supplier relationships and delivery schedules
  • Monitor supplier performance and reliability
  • Oversee receipt, inspection and storage of incoming materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory and materials records
  • Organise warehouse layout and ensure correct material identification and handling
  • Prepare and stage materials for manufacturing runs
  • Manage finished goods storage and coordinate shipment preparation
  • Ensure full material traceability throughout the process

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain, materials management or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with suppliers, procurement and inventory control
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceuticals
