We are looking for a positive and energetic individual who has an interest in helping those with mental illness maximize their potential.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li> Direct supervision of the Stores/Warehouse Assistant in the Dietetic Services department</li><li> Ordering of foodstuffs and supplies from designated prime vendors per established state-wide menu</li><li> Verifying orders from vendors against provided invoices and reporting discrepancies for credit</li><li> Labeling all food stuffs and discarding them as needed per provided guidelines</li><li> Supporting Stores/Warehouse Assistant with stocking foodstuffs and supplies</li><li> Completing quality assurance metrics weekly</li><li> Supporting Stores/Warehouse Assistant with pulling and weighing ingredients needed for recipes</li><li> Collaborating with the Administrative Manager to rotate out emergency food supply and create special menus for the holidays<br><br></li></ul><strong>Eligibility<br><br></strong><ul><li> At least 2-4 years of related food service experience</li><li> At least 4 years of supervisory/leadership experience</li><li> ServSafe Certification or ability to receive ServSafe Certification within three months of hire</li><li> Lift up to 35 lbs.</li><li> No disciplinary action in last 12 months [current State of Missouri applicants]</li><li> Have or are willing to receive Hepatitis A vaccination<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Skills And Knowledge<br><br></strong><ul><li> Strong oral and written communication</li><li> Intermediate computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office Suite</li><li> Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, and think clearly despite interruptions</li><li> Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate within the department<br><br></li></ul><strong>Excellent State Of Missouri Benefit Package Including<br><br></strong><ul><li> Affordable Health, Vision, Dental Insurance</li><li> Paid Basic Life Insurance (amount equivalent to annual salary)</li><li> Cafeteria Plan</li><li> Deferred Compensation</li><li> MOSERS Retirement (Members contribute 4% of pay, to MOSERS plan and 1% towards Deferred Compensation)</li><li> 13 paid holidays per year</li><li> 10 hours of annual leave accrued per month</li><li> 10 hours of sick leave accrued per month<br><br></li></ul><strong>WHY DMH? <br><br></strong>The Missouri Department of Mental Health is dedicated to the prevention, treatment, and public understanding of mental illness and developmental disabilities.
