As a Manager you’ll strategically develop and deliver revenue opportunities from new & existing leads through various agency channels, corporate customers, and offline sales across the Region. You’ll work closely with joint business partner sales teams together on account management in their respective marketplaces. Provide industry leadership in the areas of account management, reporting & analysis tools, technology, product, network and services to the local account and partner base in the markets that you have responsibility for.

  • Lead the Regional Sales teams based in your region

  • Implement strategic sales objectives in the region and for all multinational sales activities which may be covered by AA’s own sales teams or by JB Partners

  • Grow JB revenue across the territory working closely with JB counterparts

  • Find new opportunities to grow SME business in the sales region via channel accounts

  • Control cost and ensure that budget objectives are met

  • Collaborate internally with American Airlines Marketing, Loyalty, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis teams, and other internal stakeholders to create and implement revenue positive, profitable strategies across the territory

  • Improve high yielding agency and corporate performance across the region and achieve targets associated with other commercial priorities

  • Focus on key nonstop route profitability performance in the region and lead new route launch readiness projects

  • Be responsible for revenue opportunities through all sales channels, including but not limited to TMC, Leisure and Corporate throughout the region

  • Lead distribution initiatives throughout the region together with the regional and Head Office team

  • Collaborate with Operations to maximize revenue and provide improvements in customer experience

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Have proven track record of sales in an international sales territory environment
  • Be a person that naturally builds trust by demonstrating a highly credible, persuasive and engaging communication style with deep sales expertise
  • Have leadership skills in leading multi-cultural teams
  • Have people development focus to develop teams and improve performance
  • Have proven ability to leverage analytical and conceptual skills in order to come up with new alternatives or an unconventional, yet effective approach to business, which will result in succeeding at delivering the revenue targets in each of the markets
  • Have the ability to quickly learn new concepts, operate with a very high business acumen, and default to strategic thinking
  • Have proven track record of having led big Key Accounts successfully over significant time
  • Have the ability to build strong relationships across multiple internal workgroups, JB partners, and with external customers
  • Have sensitivity and interpersonal capabilities to motivate cross-functionally and challenge embrace a test & learn mentality
