<p><strong>Singing Teacher</strong></p><p><strong><br /></strong><b>Terms and Conditions: </b>Requires 1 day of singing teaching a week (flexible working day)</p><p><b>Actual Salary:</b> Average 5 hours of teaching a week at a rate of £38</p><p><b>Required: </b>Easter 2026</p><p><b>Location:</b> Coventry</p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>We are seeking a Singing Teacher with an enthusiastic personality and experience to inspire students of all abilities through a variety of genres. We are looking for someone who is passionate about singing and vocal health with friendly and approachable mannerism who is able to teach students aged 11-18 across a range of singing styles. The candidate will be responsible for creating lesson timetables, contacting parents where necessary and preparing students for exams such as GCSE/ A-Level recordings and graded exams.</p><p>We are looking for someone who:</p><p> Is approachable and amenable to the diverse learning styles presented in teaching.</p><p> Is punctual, organised and a good communicator.</p><p> Ability to work with parents and caers and include them in their childs progress.</p><p> Has experience in singing and vocal health.</p><p> Is self employed.</p><p>The candidate must be self employed and responsible for their own public liability and professional indemnity insurance.</p><p>All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with <a href="">KCSIE</a> part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.</p><p><b>About us</b></p><p>Blue Coat Church of England School & Music College is a successful and oversubscribed large secondary school in the heart of the city of Coventry with a vision ‘Living life in all its fullness’.
