ServiceNow Developer - UI/Portal and Backend

About the position

The ServiceNow Developer - UI/Portal and Backend position is based in Santa Clara, CA, and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Portal Development and Backend Development. The role involves developing ServiceNow Portal Components such as Branding, SP pages, UI pages, and Widgets, as well as end-to-end ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules including HRSD, ITSM, CSM, FSM, ITBM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and GRC. Experience in the HRSD module is considered a plus. The developer will also be responsible for creating Catalog Items, Record Producers, Client Scripts, UI and Data Policies, Business Rules, and UI Actions, along with ServiceNow Integration using Integration HUB, SOAP, REST, Data Sources, Import Sets, and Transform maps. Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular JS (1.X), CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap 3 framework is essential. The candidate should have good problem-solving skills, an understanding of ServiceNow best practices, and experience in Agile processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop ServiceNow Portal Components like Branding, SP pages, UI pages, and Widgets.
  • Implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
  • Create Catalog Items, Record Producers, Client Scripts, UI and Data Policies, Business Rules, and UI Actions.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems using Integration HUB, SOAP, REST, and Data Sources.
  • Utilize Flow Designer and Integration Hub for ServiceNow development.
  • Work with JavaScript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap 3 framework.
  • Participate in Agile processes and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Portal Development and Backend Development.
  • Experience in end-to-end ServiceNow implementations across 2 or more modules.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow integration techniques including Integration HUB, SOAP, and REST.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Angular JS (1.X), CSS, HTML, and Bootstrap 3 framework.
  • Good analytical and designing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the HRSD module.
