This role involves developing, implementing, and refining strategies and practices to integrate sustainability into procurement processes, improving efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and supporting ethical sourcing. The role works closely with Supplier Diversity & Sustainability leadership to ensure successful project management of sustainability initiatives.<br><br>Responsibilities<br>• Inform the development of Supplier Diversity & Sustainability strategy and roadmap alongside Lead, leveraging insights from collaboration with category management stakeholders.<br>• Assist in conducting assessments and analyzes to identify current gaps in supplier diversity, providing inputs to Supplier Sustainability and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) leads and shaping development Equity, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EEDI)-focused initiatives.<br>• Develop Supplier Diversity & Sustainability policy and drive initiatives to align supplier portfolio and category management practices with procurement supplier diversity strategy.<br>• Drive Supplier Diversity & Sustainability policy through procurement training programs and close collaboration with category management teams, facilitating communication with suppliers to implement SDEI metrics and reporting.<br>• Implement and maintain processes for tracking and evaluating the effectiveness of supplier diversity policy and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and encouraging collaboration with suppliers to further initiatives.<br>• Contribute to category, function, and enterprise status report on SDEI targets, informing internal discussions and external-facing updates of supplier diversity.<br>• Develop leadership skills through cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Contribute to a team environment that values strategic thinking, proactive supplier management, and value creation.<br>Qualifications<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt or related field.<br>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related business or operations function.<br>• Experience executing cross-functional initiatives and managing senior internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Proven expertise in supplier diversity or sustainability, supporting strategy development for ESG or EEDI.<br>• Experience executing supplier sustainability or EEDI initiatives and to achieve organizational targets.<br>• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.<br>• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.<br>Additional Information<br><br>Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: ​<br>• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
