Senior Product Manager, Commerce - AI & Platform (100% Remote - USA East Coast)

  • About the job
  • Hopper Technology Solutions is looking for an entrepreneurial and highly technical Senior Product Manager to lead our AI & Commerce Foundations Team. In this greenfield role, you'll define our AI strategy for our B2B e-commerce platform. You'll be responsible for the core platform (authentication, APIs, partner tools) and determine how LLMs create partner value.

As the Commerce Foundations PM, you will sit at the intersection of platform architecture, AI model integration, and external partner value. You'll bridge our travel data, AI models, and partner-facing products. You are a "smart creative" who can discuss technical trade-offs with engineers while staying focused on partner problems.

You're a strong communicator who ships quickly. You use data and competitive analysis to find opportunities where AI differentiates our platform.

This is a unique opportunity to build AI products from scratch at a high-growth, pre-IPO company where your decisions impact millions of users.

  • What would your day-to-day look like
  • Platform Architecture: Own architecture decisions for authentication, APIs, loyalty, and payment systems.
  • Drive Partner Success: Ship features that reduce partner integration time from weeks to days.
  • Dual-Impact Strategy: Build for two audiences: internal teams (Flights, Cars, Checkout) and external B2B partners. You'll constantly prioritize between them.
  • Technical Leadership: Work with senior engineers to turn AI/ML capabilities into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Zero-to-One Execution: Own the full lifecycle: identify opportunities, define MVPs, ship, and iterate.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Coordinate engineers, data scientists, and partner success to ship AI features that solve partner needs.
  • You are a perfect fit if you:
  • You've designed APIs and SDKs. You know what makes APIs easy to adopt and hard to break.
  • You challenge technical assumptions and prioritize shipping over perfect architecture.
  • You think in systems, understanding how auth, APIs, and payments connect.
  • You've built and launched at least one product from scratch, preferably in the B2B or platform space.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in B2B or platform products.
  • You're comfortable with SQL, A/B testing, and using data to make product decisions.
  • You've shipped products without big budgets, design teams, or clear direction.
  • You understand when to use RAG vs fine-tuning, and can explain LLM limitations (hallucinations, latency, cost).
  • You've worked with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) or implemented AI features.
  • You talk to customers regularly and use their feedback to prioritize.
  • You write clear documentation, present to executives, and facilitate decisions across teams.
  • You prioritize ruthlessly and make decisions with incomplete information.
  • You stay effective when priorities shift.
  • Perks and benefits of working with us:
  • Well-funded and proven startup with large ambitions, competitive salary and the upsides of pre-IPO equity packages.
  • Unlimited PTO.
  • Carrot Cash travel stipend.
  • Access to co-working space on demand through FlexDesk AND Work-from-home stipend.
  • Please ask us about our very generous parental leave, much above industry standards!.
  • Entrepreneurial culture where pushing limits and taking risks is everyday business.
  • Open communication with management and company leadership.
  • Small, dynamic teams = massive impact.
  • 100% employer paid Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for employees.
  • Access to Disability & Life insurance.
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).
  • DCA/ FSA and access to 401k plan.
