As the clinical research division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, PPD has launched Patient First, a group dedicated to enhancing the patient experience from the first click to the final visit. Using human-centered, digitally enabled solutions, Patient First optimizes patient recruitment and engagement, site operations, and quality data collection.</p><p></p><p>PPD is seeking a <b>Senior Patient Recruitment and Engagement Lead</b> (PREL) to join our Tactics and Materials team. This team is dedicated to the development and delivery of recruitment materials and tactics for global clinical studies.</p><p><br>This is a remote position in<span> the United Kingdom, France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine or Italy </span>with experience in <b>global study management</b>, <b>designing global trial recruitment materials</b>, <b>study budget oversight and client management. </b></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Strategic Recruitment Leadership</b></p><p>Lead the execution of global patient recruitment strategies, overseeing the delivery of tactics and tools that drive enrollment success. Monitor study performance, analyze recruitment data, proactively adjust strategies to meet targets, and identify and mitigate risks throughout the study lifecycle.</p><p><br><b>Recruitment Campaign & Materials Execution</b></p><p>Oversee the development, approval, translation, production, and distribution of recruitment materials within study startup timelines. Manage the launch and ongoing execution of Central Recruitment campaigns to ensure timely, compliant, and effective site support.</p><p><br><b>Cross-Functional & Client Partnership</b></p><p>Collaborate closely with internal study teams (CTM/CRA) to align on recruitment strategy and execution. Serve as a subject matter expert, providing strategic consultation and participating in client-facing meetings, including study kick-offs.</p><p><br><b>Operational, Compliance & Financial Oversight</b></p><p>Ensure compliance with study tools, training materials, and system updates. Oversee recruitment-related financials, partner with Finance to manage out-of-scope activities, and support contract modifications to maintain operational and budgetary alignment.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Education and Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification</p></li><li><p>Previous clinical patient recruitment management experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years’ experience) </p></li><li><p>In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training, and/or related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.</p></li></ul><p><br><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Clinical Management experience with a strong focus on leading Recruitment and Retention.</p></li><li><p>Project Management experience.</p></li><li><p>Effective leadership and training skills; capable of motivating teams.</p></li><li><p>Excellent planning and organizational skills to effectively prioritize workload for self and team members.</p></li><li><p>Solid interpersonal and critical thinking skills to promote teamwork in a multicultural matrix organization. </p></li><li><p>Proven ability to work in high pressured situations.</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of change management principles.</p></li><li><p>Strong judgment, decision making, escalation, and risk management skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong oral and written communication skills, including English language proficiency.</p></li><li><p>Provides excellent customer service and fosters teamwork among internal and external customers.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Location: <span>United Kingdom, France, Bulgaria, Portugal, Serbia, Hungary, Ukraine or Italy</span>.
