Senior Manager of Business Intelligence & Experience

The Senior Manager of Firm Intelligence & Analytics will lead the strategy, implementation, and long-term stewardship of the firm’s business intelligence platform (Foundation). This role will also oversee the development of reporting and analytics tools that enable data-driven decision-making and support business development, marketing, and firm leadership initiatives. Acting as a strategic partner across departments—including Business Development, Innovation, IT, and practice leadership—this individual will ensure data is well-governed, accessible, and actionable. They will drive user adoption, optimize data systems and structures, and deliver insights that enhance client engagement, market positioning, and operational performance. Job Responsibilities • Own the firm’s business intelligence strategy, including the successful implementation, governance, and long-term optimization of Foundation and associated analytics platforms. • Lead cross-functional initiatives to align data, systems, and reporting processes with firm business development and marketing priorities. • Manage the end-to-end implementation of Foundation, including configuration, taxonomy design, data mapping, integration planning, and rollout strategy. • Oversee the ongoing administration and development of the firm’s experience management system and integrated modules, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with evolving business needs. • Design and direct the firm’s business intelligence reporting strategy, developing Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that deliver actionable insights for leadership, practice groups, and business development teams. • Lead data governance efforts, establishing and enforcing data quality standards, processes, and protocols to maintain clean, reliable, and trusted information across systems. • Collaborate with firm leadership, lawyers, and business services teams to identify reporting and data analytics needs and translate them into scalable, effective solutions. • Develop and execute training, onboarding, and user adoption programs to promote broad, effective use of Foundation and business intelligence tools across the firm. • Serve as the firm’s primary liaison to Litera Foundation and analytics platform vendors, managing relationships, contracts, and system enhancements. • Provide strategic thought leadership on emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities in legal business intelligence and experience management. • Lead and mentor direct reports and/or cross-functional project teams as appropriate. • Contribute to strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives, providing analytical and operational support as needed. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Advanced expertise in Litera Foundation, with a minimum of 2 years in a system administrator or leadership role. • Proficiency in arenaflex Power BI, including dashboard/report development. • In-depth understanding of CRM, experience management, and marketing systems and their integration within business intelligence ecosystems. • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a deadline-driven, collaborative environment. • Proven experience in data governance, quality control, and reporting accuracy. • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a strong ability to influence, advise, and partner with senior stakeholders. • Champion for process improvement, change management, and user adoption, with a continuous improvement mindset. • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders with diplomacy and agility. • Strong attention to detail and strategic thinking skills. • Proficiency in arenaflex Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, marketing, information systems, or a related field. Experience • Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in business intelligence, legal marketing/business development analytics, or experience management systems, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities. • Prior law firm, professional services, or consulting industry experience strongly preferred. Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The salary range for this position is $106,000-$162,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
