The Senior Contracts Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting our mission by collaboratively leading their team to establish contracts, OIT Enterprise Agreements, set policies and procedures, and review State Agency Contracts for compliance with established requirements.
  • As Senior Contracts Specialist, your responsibilities will include negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a wide array of documents and agreements, such as IT service contracts, project development, and construction agreements.

  • Negotiate and draft contracts and grants, from initial inception through final signatures.
  • Ensure fair and equitable treatment of everyone working with the procurement process.
  • Coordinate data gathering to develop, revise, and evaluate strategies for administering and monitoring contractor and grantee compliance.
  • Guide and counsel state agencies, providing explanations and/or clarifications as needed.
  • Assist in the implementation of policies, procedures, operations, and program processes.
  • Participate in the solicitation, evaluation, and selection of bidders.
  • Identify compliance issues and proactively develop solutions for improvement.
