Summary:

The successful candidate will have responsibility for guiding the SAP Extended Warehouse Management and Logistics functions within the SAP core solution and landscape supporting the template deployment for Carrier’s North American operations. This individual will partner with the Digital Factory and Operations team and other Digital (IT) COEs to define, design, deploy and sustain the SAP EWM, TMS and LE solutions. There is a requirement to ensure alignment on solution design, cross-functional integration and project implementation will result in a strategic, sustainable solution. 

 

Responsibilities: 

·       Plan and manage assigned work activities; execute project plans; complete projects on-time and on-budget. 

·       Design and develop test plans (test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system and/or acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements. 

·       Facilitate blueprinting session and create/update blueprint, functional and technical design documents. 

·       Design and develop test plans (test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system and/or acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements. 

·       Configuration and implementation of complete Sales and Distribution module and Logistics Execution. 

·       Provide hands-on functional support for SAP EWM/WM processes, including Outbound: Wave management, transportation unit creation, pick/pack/ship process, Inbound: Receiving, quality inspection, Put-away strategies, Production Integration: Support staging to/from production supply areas (PSAs). 

·       Batch Management & Inventory Controls 

·       Support floor operations during go-lives and HyperCard; troubleshoot in real-time with warehouse personnel and supervisors. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

·       Bachelor’s degree 

·       10+ years of experience working as SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant and or SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) 

·       5+ years of hands-on SAP Materials Management (MM)/Logistics Execution (LE) and Sales and Distributions (SD) module implementation experience, including architecting solutions for a minimum of 3 full-cycle projects. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·       Master's Degree

·       Solid communication skills are required to deal with varying levels of audiences having both: written and verbal interactions. 

·       At least 3 full life cycle implementations experience, also needed production support experience. 

·       Experience in requirement gathering, master data, customization, configuration, and testing/training. 

·       Experience with business processes for manufacturing business i.e.: Make to Stock / Make to Order / Engineer to Order models. 

·       This requires an excellent understanding of all the Logistic-based modules such as SD, MM, LE & PP.

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.  

Pay Range:

The annual salary for this position is $120,000–$168,000.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
