This position is the Department’s lead Data Analytics position and will develop and analyze data while ensuring its quality and accuracy. Your ability to present the data will be paramount in helping the department make informed, data-driven decisions.You will frequently be asked to provide research and analysis support to members of the leadership team. DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION: Analyze data, ensure quality and accuracy, and present the data in ways that help the department make better data-driven decisions. Report to the Division Director of Administration and work closely with the Leadership Team on the Department of Revenue Transformational and Operational Dashboard reporting. Assist with the collection of data and transferring it to graphic visual design. Work extensively with Human Resource Data analytics, reporting, structure, and design.Responsible for Human Resource storyboard and dashboard metrics. Provide guidance and leadership to all DOR Data Analytic positions in Tableau dashboard reporting. Coordinate quarterly divisional operational dashboard presentations to the department leadership team. Coordinates and organizes the monthly Department Operational Dashboard report data and presentation. The Department’s Operational Excellence dashboard includes transformational initiatives, operational dashboard and organization health data. Prior to the beginning of each fiscal year, this position will organize meetings for department leaders to identify transformational initiatives for the upcoming fiscal year.This position will design the dashboard for approval and monthly presentations thereafter. This position will create the data capture source for the transformational initiatives reporting. Assist new Tableau users as they learn and development visual analytics. This includes creating workbooks, using tooltips, mapping, filters, data links, and efficient use of data sources. This position will hold regular Tableau user group meetings to share knowledge and/or pass on State Tableau information.Track and request access to the Tableau server when necessary.
