[Remote] Sr. Systems Engineer I-ServiceNow -- 1 MONTH CONTRACT **NO AGENCIES**

They are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer I with expertise in ServiceNow to recommend, design, implement, and optimize their ServiceNow infrastructure while providing technical guidance and support. Responsibilities • Collaborate with ServiceNow teams to ensure the design, configuration and performance meets the needs of the ServiceNow service • Design, develop, and test ServiceNow tactical enhancements to existing modules • Serve as a technical reference and mentor to junior engineers • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities and requirements for improved collaboration • Provide input on instance upgrades and implement plans • Lead activities related to application presentation as they relate to ServiceNow environments • Research, recommend, and if required, create ServiceNow applications and solutions to automate processes and procedures • Monitor ServiceNow platform for failures and performance problems • Estimate, create, develop, and deliver solutions for internal customers addressing requirements in consideration of process design, ServiceNow technical best practice and standards • Regulatory audit (PCI, HIPAA, etc.) remediation • Identify, recommend and implement tactical and operational improvements to ServiceNow platform and coordinate development and deployment activities • Coordinate with IT Help Desk to communicate issue status and respond to questions • Provide Tier 3 support for ServiceNow Incident, Problem, and Request queue • Rotate on-call and queue support responsibilities • Support security policies, practices, and guidelines for ServiceNow platform • Collaborate and contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of technical best practice and standards • Ensure technical deliverables to CDW stakeholders are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes • Contribute to the continual improvement of the ServiceNow Support Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of customer needs and requirements • Ensure accurate time tracking and maintain an up-to-date calendar of scheduled activities • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills • Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of Information Technology Engineering experience, 3 years of which should be with the ServiceNow Platform; OR • 9 years of Information Technology Engineering experience, 3 years of which should be with the ServiceNow Platform • Candidates must hold the following certifications: CSA Certification, CIS-ITSM Certification • Demonstrated competence in development of the base ServiceNow platform as well as multiple modules • Understanding of scoped applications, how and when to utilize them, how to develop and deploy • Active listening skills, respecting others' point of view and taking ownership of contributing the required input while demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal, and presentational) • Proven experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of solutions • Experience with Agile methods of software development and delivery • Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while aiding in solving business processes and/or technical problems • Proven history of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as necessary • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relay technical information to a non-technical audience and effectively interact with all stakeholders including senior leadership • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment • Solid process documentation skills • ITIL Foundations Certification, a plus • Additional CIS Certifications, a plus • Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO, a plus • Experience with web services integrations, a plus • Experience with domain-separated environments, a plus • Experience implementing systems using the SAFe methodology, a plus Company Overview • At CDW, we know how to make technology work so people can do great things.
