[Remote] Sr Director Analyst, AI and Simulation (Remote US)

The Senior Director Analyst role focuses on producing innovative research and analysis in AI and Intelligent Simulation, engaging with clients to address complex challenges and providing strategic advice.


Responsibilities

  • Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have research” content
  • Develop new research and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client's needs and requests that accelerate the client's ability to act
  • Conduct research, analyze, write, present, and advise on critical Intelligent Simulation innovations using Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital twins, IoT and related software to address issues facing senior executives in global high technology providers and technology adopters
  • Create innovative, thought-leading written research with memorable graphics. You will offer insightful positions, compelling and objective justifications, and actionable advice that is highly leveraged by Gartner’s C-Level clients
  • Participate in Gartner’s ETT research methodology, including case-based research by speaking with executives, academics, industry experts, and venture capitalists. Work with ETT experts to identify key emerging trends, and barriers or accelerators to adoption
  • Support sales and business development, serving as the voice of Gartner’s view on the state of AI enabled Intelligent Simulation
  • Respond to client inquiries, providing individualized advice and practical guidance specific to a client’s role in a high-tech provider or adopter context via video conferencing or written responses
  • Create and deliver presentation materials via video conference or in-person Gartner events, industry and professional association conferences, and client briefings

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred
  • 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
  • Strategic thought leadership leveraging expertise in Intelligent Simulation solutions
  • Research focus: Insatiable curiosity, exceptional critical thinking and problem solving, with self-motivation to discover and make sense of emerging technology market signals
  • Supply-side Experience: Recent experience in bringing AI enabled Intelligent Simulation solutions to market
  • Demand-side Experience: Recent experience in supporting the adoption of Intelligent Simulation solutions across multiple industries and geographies
  • Technology Acumen: Deep understanding of emerging AI enabled Intelligent Simulation tools and technologies
  • Business and Financial Acumen: Expertise in the business of Intelligent Simulation solutions and related tools, products and services, company finances, markets, costs, and investor motivation
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high quality deliverables
  • Demonstrate excellence in research and writing ability
  • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills; ability to engage clients and respond effectively to questions
  • Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can effectively apply patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges
