[Remote] Legal Operations Manager (CounselLink Specialist)

Morae is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Manager with deep CounselLink expertise to support and manage the operational functions of a corporate law department. This remote, U.S.-based contract role focuses on optimizing legal operations, managing CounselLink administration, and supporting outside counsel and internal legal stakeholders. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for CounselLink, including configuration, user management, workflows, matter management, billing, and reporting • Manage and optimize legal department operational processes, including matter intake, outside counsel engagement, budgeting, and invoice review • Support outside counsel management, including onboarding, guidelines enforcement, and billing compliance through CounselLink • Partner with Legal leadership to improve efficiency, visibility, and arenaflex control across the legal function • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics related to legal spend, matter status, and performance metrics • Act as a liaison between Legal, Finance, IT, and outside vendors to ensure smooth operational execution • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements within CounselLink and broader legal operations • Support change management initiatives related to legal technology and operational workflows • Ensure data integrity, system accuracy, and compliance with internal policies Skills • Mandatory: Significant hands-on experience with CounselLink (administration, configuration, reporting, and day-to-day operations) • Proven experience managing operations within a corporate law department • Strong background in Legal Operations, Legal Technology, or Law Department Operations • Experience working closely with in-house attorneys, finance teams, and outside counsel • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment • Prior title or function as a Legal Operations Manager or Legal Operations Lead • Experience supporting mid-to-large corporate legal departments • Familiarity with legal spend management, matter management, and e-billing best practices • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or process redesigns within a law department Company Overview • Morae Global Corporation ("Morae") is trusted around the world for the delivery of digital and business solutions for a constantly changing legal industry.
