<p><strong>Recruiting Assistant</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Onsite in Camas, WA</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $25–$30 per hour DOE</p><p><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Contract-to-Hire</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized <strong>Recruiting Assistant </strong>to support our client's Talent Acquisition and HR team. In this role, you will manage key administrative and coordination activities across the hiring lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.</p><p><br></p><p>This role DOES NOT require previous experience in recruitment or HR, although it is a plus. Our client is seeking someone with an administrative background who has the strong desire to learn HR and grow within this space.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate and schedule phone, video, and onsite interviews</li><li>Post and maintain job openings across internal and external platforms</li><li>Screen resumes and route qualified candidates to recruiters/hiring managers</li><li>Communicate with candidates regarding interview logistics, next steps, and status updates</li><li>Manage candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain accurate documentation</li><li>Assist with pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and offer documentation</li><li>Support onboarding activities for new hires as needed</li><li>Maintain recruiting reports, dashboards, and related documentation</li><li>Partner closely with recruiters, HR, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely hiring processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Bachelor’s Degree required</strong></li><li>1+ years of experience in recruiting coordination or HR support OR 2+ years of administrative or executive assistance experience with the desire to learn HR/Recruitment</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Experience using an ATS or HRIS tools, or the ability to learn a new system</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li><li>High level of attention to detail and professionalism</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
