Receptionist/Administration

Doher & Co. Chartered Accountants is a local firm of Chartered Professional Accountants located in Windsor, Ontario.

We provide audit, accounting and tax services, as well as a variety of business advisory services to a wide range of clients in industries ranging from manufacturing, construction, retail to professional firms, such as doctors, lawyers and dentists. We also provide services to the non-for-profit sector.

We are looking for a highly motivated administrative assistant/receptionist to join our firm.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities include but not limited to:

  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Greeting and assisting clients
  • Editing financial statements, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms for professional staff
  • Performing administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, Accounts Payable etc.
  • Typing letters and reports on behalf of professional staff
  • Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Diploma in Office Administration preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, and confidentiality concerning client files and records
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics
  • Good typing skills
  • Proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of Simply Accounting (Sage 50).
  • Experience with Caseware, and Taxprep software would be an asset.
