Provider Account Manager, Fertility Network

Thank you for considering Progyny! Progyny is looking for a Provider Account Manager who will play a vital role in managing network operations and contracts for key accounts nationwide. You’ll foster ongoing connections with providers throughout Progyny’s network, prioritizing outstanding customer service and proactive solutions. What you’ll do... ​ • Develop trusted partnerships with business managers, clinical leaders, and key decision-makers. • Consistently present fertility outcome data to assigned accounts, ensuring physicians are informed about metrics and expectations. • Collaborate across departments—including sales, client account management, business intelligence, member services, marketing/PR, and finance—to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders. • Identify, assess, and implement new processes to improve efficiency in timely filing and claims payments. • Work closely with employer services and marketing teams to achieve network management goals and provide customer insights for service enhancements. • Represent Progyny as an expert at conferences, physician offices, and with employer clients. • Deliver consistent educational updates regarding Progyny Rx, authorizations and claims, provider portal, and general business operations. • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining provider accounts, credentialing, and managing special projects. • Lead negotiations of financial and operational contract terms with IVF and Reproductive Urology clinics, prioritizing unit arenaflex management, client value, and clinical success. • Help develop innovative contracting strategies and network discounts, including pay-for-performance models. • Maintain and revise provider contracts in response to client benefit and programmatic changes. • Build and expand senior-level relationships with fertility clinics in your region. • Develop, negotiate, and finalize service agreements and reimbursement schedules, leveraging a thorough understanding of Progyny’s fertility services. • Strategically analyze business models, budget cycles, and key decision-makers to maximize partnership opportunities. About you... • 4+ years of managed care contracting, negotiation, and/or sales experience in the fertility sector or women’s health, with knowledge of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) and/or reproductive urology RU. • Background may include specialty pharmacy management (fertility), fertility nursing, clinic management, health plan administration, or fertility clinic business consulting. • Solution-driven mindset—proactively addressing challenges. • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused. • Skilled at simplifying complex systems and delivering clear communications. • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities. • Outstanding presentation skills; comfortable speaking to large groups. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. • Self-motivated with a commitment to producing thorough, client-ready work. • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; ready to take on new and varied responsibilities. • Proficient in MS Office (advanced skills in pivot tables preferred). and CRM systems. • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required. • Willingness to travel by air up to eight days per month.
