The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be adept at solving complex business optimization problems. This role involves managing large volumes of procurement work and requires the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and prioritize tasks efficiently.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist the Hardware Procurement team in processing over 25,000 purchase orders annually. </li><li>Identify and resolve issues affecting cycle times for Pricing and Procurement requests. </li><li>Collaborate with Finance to enhance approval cycle efficiencies. </li><li>Work directly with suppliers to validate and confirm pricing for PO creation. </li><li>Manage procurement requests related to server, network, SAN, and spare parts. </li><li>Track and manage Pricing and Procurement requests, ensuring timely completion and overcoming roadblocks. </li><li>Identify necessary toll gates for procuring OPEX and CAPEX materials before demand enters the pipeline. </li><li>Coordinate with Supply Chain Operations Management, Capacity Planning, and Clear to Build teams for timely demand fulfillment. </li><li>Provide clear, effective, and timely communication across teams. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP/Oracle financial tools. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience with pricing contracts and approvals, including placing Purchase Orders. </li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably with networking hardware. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. </li><li>Experience in Operations Project or Program Management (4+ years minimum). </li><li>Proficiency in writing SQL queries and developing Excel and Power BI reports. </li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills. </li><li>Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and maintain good judgment in high-stress environments. </li><li>Problem-solving capability with a calm demeanor. </li><li>US Citizenship and a valid passport are required. <br><br></li></ul>Work Environment<br><br>This role is fully remote, requiring candidates to work standard PST business hours from 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday. While there is a preference for candidates based in the PST time zone, candidates from any US time zone who can work PST hours are welcome. The role offers a 40-hour work week with no overtime. Candidates will be provided with a standard laptop, an external monitor, and a headset, and must have access to the MS Office suite.
