Job Description:

  • Lead transformation discovery engagements with new customers, conducting workshops that uncover business objectives, current state challenges, and transformation ambitions.
  • Assess customer readiness for change, identifying organisational, process, and capability factors that may impact successful adoption, and providing guidance on addressing gaps.
  • Define transformation visions and roadmaps that translate customer objectives into actionable plans, setting clear success criteria that can be measured throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Guide customers toward best practice, constructively challenging requests to replicate legacy processes where these would limit value realisation or efficiency.
  • Partner with Account Directors throughout the customer lifecycle, providing strategic insight that supports retention and identifies growth opportunities.
  • Conduct periodic checkpoint reviews during implementation, ensuring Solution Engineers are delivering against the transformation vision and intervening where scope drift occurs.
  • Act as an escalation point for strategic alignment issues during implementation, working with Solution Engineers and Account Directors to resolve conflicts between customer requests and transformation objectives.
  • Deliver programmatic engagements for existing customers, including art of the possible workshops that demonstrate new AI capabilities and support renewal and expansion conversations.
  • Develop and maintain customer transformation methodologies, including workshop frameworks, discovery templates, and change readiness assessment tools.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Gatekeeper's professional services model, sharing insights on customer transformation patterns and identifying opportunities to improve engagement approaches.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Solution Engineers, helping them develop consultative skills and understand transformation principles.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in a customer-facing or client advisory role involving business transformation, process improvement, or strategic consulting within procurement, legal, contract management, or risk management functions, bringing first-hand understanding of the challenges customers face.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior stakeholder conversations, challenge constructively, and build credibility with executive audiences.
  • Experience translating business objectives into actionable plans and success criteria, with a track record of guiding organisations through change.
  • Strong facilitation skills, with experience designing and delivering workshops that drive clarity and alignment.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its application to business processes, with an understanding of how AI-powered automation can transform ways of working.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics, including competing stakeholder priorities and resistance to change.
  • Consultative style that balances listening with constructive challenge, ensuring customers feel heard while being guided toward optimal outcomes.
  • Clear and professional communication skills across verbal, video, and written formats, with the ability to document transformation visions in a way that guides downstream delivery.
  • Experience working within or alongside SaaS implementation teams, with an understanding of how transformation objectives translate into platform configuration.
  • Self-directed and able to manage a portfolio of engagements with minimal oversight, prioritising effectively across competing demands.
  • Desirable Experience
  • Experience with deploying, working in and managing vendor management, contract lifecycle management, or supplier risk platforms.
  • Exposure to change management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Experience in a SaaS vendor environment, particularly in professional services, customer success, or solution consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow and automation platforms.
