Your Role on Our Team As Principal IT Solution Analyst (Supply Chain) you will be part of the group that supports our Supply Chain, Procurement and Sourcing organizations in delivering large-scale data and ERP transformation initiatives. You will have the right mix of technical acumen, business analysis, and project management skills to successfully deliver in Milwaukee Tool's fast-paced environment. As a Principal IT Solution Analyst (Supply Chain) you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting solutions within our catalog of Supply Chain Planning Solutions (Our primary ERP is Oracle SCP). Your expertise will help us provide production support to our Enterprise-Wide Oracle Cloud ERP solution as well as drive new processes and solutions to meet our aggressive growth plans. This role is a Principal-level position, operating above other Senior Analyst roles. Success is measured not only by individual delivery, but by ownership, influence, and the ability to elevate others. Responsibilities: · Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand Supply Chain requirements and translate them into technical solutions. · Lead cross-functional alignment across IT, Supply Chain, and Platform teams, proactively resolving ambiguity and driving decisions where direction is unclear. · Own and drive supply chain planning initiatives end-to-end, including problem definition, solution direction, execution strategy, and stakeholder alignment, operating with a high degree of autonomy. · Work with Platform Team to design and configure Oracle SCP modules to support demand planning, forecasting, inventory optimization, and analytics, in lock step to all supply planning and other fulfillment departmental efforts. · Serve as the technical authority for Supply Chain Planning solutions, setting standards, making design decisions, and guiding platform and integration teams. · Build out the future backlog in the IT Supply Chain Planning workspace and work with the appropriate Product or Platform owners to get this work into their long-term roadmap. · Drive best in class supply chain processes and data quality while helping to architect future capabilities that might include AI, ML, Low-Code (APEX) reporting, and Transportation and Logistics solutions. · Drive best technical practices for the existing Supply Chain Planning integration solution focused on production support, stability and enhancements to the end-to-end supply chain planning process across multiple platforms. · Mentor and develop senior and mid-level analysts, elevating technical depth, ownership, and delivery maturity across the team · Ensure compliance with security frameworks and best practices. Technical Skills: · Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Applications, specifically Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning modules (e.g., Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization). · Strong knowledge of data structures within Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning. · Work closely with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning and other systems within the organization. · Identify opportunities for process improvements within Supply Chain Planning modules and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. · Document system configurations, processes, and best practices. Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and junior analysts. · Provide technical leadership for the resolution of complex supply chain planning issues, guiding platform and integration teams and owning outcomes. · Data Analytics: Proficiency in analyzing large data sets, forecasting, and demand planning. · Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with tools like PowerBI for data visualization and analytics. · Utilize SQL skills to retrieve and analyze data from Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules, generating meaningful insights to support decision-making. Success in this role includes: · Initiatives are driven end-to-end with minimal direction · Technical decisions are made decisively and communicated clearly · Cross-team alignment improves because of this role’s leadership · Senior analysts demonstrate growth in ownership and capability Education and Experience: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field with IT Solution Experience. Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus. · At least 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related areas. · Experience in supporting Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Planning module or equivalent Cloud ERP Certifications: · Oracle Cloud certifications related to Supply Chain Planning modules (e.g., Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus. Other TOOLS we prefer you to have: · Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and recommend solutions that address expressed needs within the project. · Success in leading multiple small to medium projects in various SDLCs (waterfall and agile) leading development teams and aligning with business stakeholders. · Success in leveraging project management methodologies including planning, scheduling, and execution. · Experience with product and technical thinking and executing in a fast-paced environment that meet or exceed expressed needs. · Embraces and may lead business process methodology. · Ability to gather complex business requirements, process flows, and use-case scenarios. · Lead recommendations for processes improvements, documentation standards, procedures, and/or guidelines and ability to align and implement changes. · Experience with key technologies such as ERP, CRM or other customer management technologies, WMS, Power BI. AX, Azure, Oracle cloud products. · Skilled in communicating across functional audiences with different backgrounds.
