Partnership Development Manager Kenya & East Africa

Hello! šŸ‘‹ At Factorial , we’re looking for a Partnership Development Manager based in Nairobi to help us grow and scale our partner ecosystem in East Africa, with a focus in the East region and Kenya. You will work in close coordination with the rest of the Global Expansion team based in Barcelona, Spain, who will travel to Africa several times a year. You’ll play a key role in expanding Factorial through partnerships, working closely with local partners who sell, implement, and support our all-in-one HR SaaS solution. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where your work directly impacts revenue, market presence, and long-term growth. About the role šŸš€ As the Partnership Development Manager - Africa , you will: Own partner acquisition & activation: Identify, approach, and onboard new potential partners, managing the full partner sales cycle from first contact to activation. Build the partner ecosystem: Develop strong, long-term relationships with partners that strategically align with Factorial in the HR space. Be the main point of contact for partners: Manage a portfolio of partners, supporting them throughout their journey and acting as their primary interface with Factorial. Drive partner engagement & performance: Hold regular meetings (cold calls, video calls, demos) with partners and their clients to present the product, share updates, and solve concrete challenges. Gather market & partner insights: Collect feedback from partners and their clients to identify pains, opportunities, and improvements to strengthen the partnership channel. Drive expansion opportunities: Upsell additional Factorial products and services through partners, based on customer needs and market potential. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with internal teams (SDRs, Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Leadership) to ensure alignment and partner success. Your Profile In a few words: we’re looking for a hungry, proactive partnership builder who enjoys opening doors, building relationships, and growing markets through collaboration. Proven experience in Partnerships +4 years and B2B Sales within SaaS or digital transformation environments . Languages: Expert in English . Additional local languages are a plus, not blockers. Hunter mentality: Persistent, resilient, and motivated by developing new opportunities and partnerships from scratch. Strong communicator & relationship builder: You connect easily with people, build trust quickly, and communicate clearly with partners and internal stakeholders. Proactive & idea-driven: You take initiative, propose new ideas, and don’t wait for everything to be defined before acting. Market focus: Understanding of the African market is a strong plus; experience working with international teams is welcome. Bonus: Knowledge of HR tech or partner-led GTM models, Microsoft, SAP and Sage ecosystems, etc. Availability to travel around Africa, specially within South Africa and East Africa.
