This partner (employee) relations consultant is responsible for supporting partners and leaders in our support (corporate) functions across U.S. and Canada with employee relations concerns, accommodations, performance management and escalated partner issues. In this capacity, the partner relations consultant upholds, interprets and provides coaching on Starbucks policies, standards, procedures and programs. As a partner relations consultant , you will… Build and maintain strategic partnerships with multiple Human Resources teams and leadership teams in the Support (corporate) organization. Consult with and provide guidance to Support leaders on employee relations-related matters that involve a high degree of complexity or risk to the business. Hear partner and leader concerns; identify and assess needs, issues and risk; determine appropriate steps to resolve. Lead complex investigations of employee relations issues and concerns involving allegations where there is a high degree of complexity or risk to the business. Lead resolution of matters in accordance with Starbucks policies and standards. Provide performance management consultation to ensure accurate interpretation of employment laws and regulations, and consistent development and delivery of corrective action. Analyze and interpret employee relations data to identify trends. Present insights from data and recommendations to Human Resources and Support leaders. Identify, lead and/or participate in project work to ensure consistency across the organization and build leader capability in employee relations. We’d Love To Hear From People With Education: B.A. or B.S. in Business, Psychology, Education, Communication, or related field (closely-related human resources work experience or training may substitute for advanced education on a year-for-year basis). Skills (minimum skills required): Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. Strong communication skills: both written and verbal. Other preferred qualifications: HR Certification or equivalent preferred 3 years of human resources experience in a retail multi-unit environment.
