Minimum Requirements EDUCATION: Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed coursework from an accredited* college or university in Museum Studies, Education, Early Childhood Development, or one of the disciplines featured in the museum's collections, which includes history, earth sciences, or life sciences. --AND-- EXPERIENCE: One (1) year (full-time equivalent) hands-on interaction with children, customers, clients, or visitors, in the teaching, leading, tutoring, or instruction of educational classes, workshops, and activities. *Note: Qualifying degrees must be completed at a college or university accredited by an accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education.
