Paraplanner – London/Hybrid - £45,000–£55,000 + Benefits

Are you a career paraplanner who genuinely enjoys the technical, analytical and planning side of financial advice? Do you take pride in crafting bespoke suitability reports, building thoughtful financial plans and being closely involved in client strategy — without the pressure of chasing adviser targets?

If so, this opportunity could be exactly what you’re looking for.

We’re working with a well-established boutique financial planning firm that partners with business owners, lawyers and city professionals to help them build, protect and enjoy long-term financial freedom. The team is friendly, ambitious and values-driven, with a culture built around collaboration, high standards and doing the right thing for clients.

The Role

As a key part of the advice team, you’ll be the technical engine behind high-quality financial planning. This is a role for someone who loves paraplanning — someone who finds satisfaction in deep analysis, clear thinking and producing work that advisers and clients can rely on.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building detailed, insightful cashflow models using Voyant
  • Writing bespoke, well-structured suitability reports
  • Producing technical analysis and recommendations across pensions, investments and protection
  • Researching protection solutions and planning strategies tailored to client objectives
  • Preparing forward-planning reports following client reviews
  • Working closely with advisers to understand client priorities and shape appropriate advice
  • Ensuring all work is accurate, compliant and aligned with regulatory standards
  • Playing an active role in delivering an exceptional client experience

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being deeply involved in the advice process, but whose strengths lie in the technical, analytical and planning elements of financial advice.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
  • Minimum three years’ experience as a Paraplanner
  • Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team

Desirable:

  • Experience with Intelliflo Office
  • Experience using Voyant
  • Familiarity with AJ Bell

What’s on Offer

  • Salary £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working for better work–life balance
  • Early finish every Friday
  • An additional day off every month
  • Private medical insurance, income protection, death in service, health cash plan and salary sacrifice pension
  • Full support for professional development, including funded training and qualifications
  • A friendly, ambitious and supportive environment where your contribution is genuinely valued

If you’re a paraplanner who wants to build a long-term career in a firm that respects your expertise and gives you the space to do your best work, we’d love to hear from you.
