This on-demand role is designed to support our flight teams in delivering the exceptional level of service, professionalism, and discretion expected by private aviation clients and aircraft owners.<br><br>This is an on-call, trip-based, W-2 supplemental position, compensated at $1,000 per flight day, ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic, high-service aviation environment and are available to support trips as operational needs arise.<br><br>The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a strong background in catering or hospitality, and a professional appearance that reflects diversity and a global perspective. The candidate must reside within a 2-hour commute of Van Nuys Airport (VNY) for operational readiness.<br><br>This position demands adaptability, a commitment to safety and luxury, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of cabin readiness and guest comfort, which are the hallmarks of Silver Air's industry leadership.<br><br><strong>Job Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Deliver exceptional inflight service on Silver Air’s Part 91 and Part 135 flights, anticipating guest needs and creating a seamless, personalized experience for aircraft owners and charter clients.</li><li>Welcome guests onboard and clearly communicate available amenities, catering, and cabin features, ensuring a polished and attentive service experience from boarding through departure.</li><li>Conduct detailed pre-flight cabin and galley inspections, confirming cleanliness, catering readiness, and cabin presentation. Communicate any service or supply needs to the Aircraft Service Manager (ASM), Chief Cabin Attendant, and flight crew prior to departure.</li><li>Coordinate closely with the flight crew and Chief Cabin Attendant, following Silver Air’s service standards and procedures as outlined in the Cabin Attendant Handbook.</li><li>Manage inflight catering, provisioning, and presentation, ensuring all service items are tailored to each trip and the cabin remains organized and fully stocked.</li><li>Maintain the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and professionalism, ensuring all cabin operations align with Silver Air policies and applicable aviation regulations.</li><li>Support initial cabin preparation and aircraft readiness, working with the ASM and operations team to ensure the aircraft environment reflects Silver Air’s luxury service standards prior to guest arrival.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Application Requirements<br><br></strong>To be considered for the <strong>Part-Time / On-Call Cabin Attendant role</strong>, applicants must submit the following materials as part of their application:<br><br><strong>Resume or CV</strong> outlining relevant experience in corporate aviation or luxury hospitality, including aircraft types supported and responsibilities related to inflight service and cabin operations.<br><br><strong>Professional Headshot</strong> that reflects the presentation standards expected of corporate aviation cabin attendants.<br><br><strong>Professional References<br></strong> Provide at least <strong>two references</strong> who can speak to your service standards, professionalism, and experience supporting high-net-worth clients.<br><br><strong>Training Certifications (PDF upload)<br></strong> Examples may include:<ul><li>FACTS Cabin Attendant Training</li><li>Food Handling Certification</li><li>CPR / AED / First Aid</li><li>Emergency Procedures Training</li><li>Additional hospitality or service certifications</li></ul><strong>Cabin Service Portfolio (1–3 page PDF)<br></strong> A brief presentation showcasing your approach to inflight service. Candidates with two or more years of experience who meet a high percentage of the position’s qualifications and demonstrate strong professionalism, presentation, and flexibility may be considered for compensation toward the top of the range. Final compensation may be adjusted slightly based on any gaps relative to the full scope of qualifications.<br><br>As this role is initially structured as a contract position, the full-time benefits offered to Silver Air employees would not apply at the outset. However, contractors are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan through Empower. Should the role evolve into consistent full-time work exceeding 30 hours per week for a sustained period, there may be an opportunity to transition into Silver Air’s full-time benefits program, which includes healthcare, cell phone reimbursement, pet insurance, and additional company-sponsored benefits.
