Office Assistant / Receptionist (Part-Time / Full-Time)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Office Assistant / Receptionist to join our team on either a part-time or full-time basis. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service while supporting daily administrative operations. This role offers an opportunity to develop organisational and clerical skills within a dynamic office environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals looking to gain valuable office experience.

Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answer incoming calls, direct enquiries, and take accurate messages
  • Manage appointment scheduling and calendar organisation
  • Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and digital
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
  • Support the team with administrative projects as required
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times

Skills

  • Proven office experience or administrative background
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good typing speed and accuracy for data entry tasks
