Office admin for custom print & apparel shop

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused office admin to join our custom apparel print shop. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, some light sales experience, and a passion for helping customers bring their creative ideas to life. Prior experience in retail or B2B sales, or supervising is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections and customization options in person, over email and on the phone.
  • Manage CRM software, including processing payments.
  • Upsell products and promote additional services or merchandise to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Demonstrate custom product options and explain customization processes clearly.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or taking orders remotely
  • Assist in supervising daily leads and tasks as needed.
  • Support inventory purchasing of custom goods and final delivery to customers.
  • Engage in effective communication with team members to coordinate workflow and customer service efforts.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person, email and over the phone.
  • Experience with CRM systems, and sales funnels.
  • Proven sales ability with upselling techniques and retail math knowledge
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to demonstrate products confidently through product catalogs in person and over email. Be able to explain decorating method details clearly.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills
  • Basic math skills for transactions, inventory counts, and sales calculations.
