Ministry staff (Filipino congregation)

We are seeking a dedicated Ministry Staff to support the work of our Filipino congregation. This full-time role involves coordinating church services and activities, managing operations and volunteers, and handling administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of ministries and programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with ministry leaders to support the spiritual and logistical needs of the church community.

Key Responsibilities:

Ministry Support

  • Coordinate weekly worship services, prayer meetings, outreach efforts, and discipleship/equipping programs
  • Support pastoral care and member engagement efforts
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of special events and ministry-related initiatives
  • Provide leadership and support in small groups and other ministry teams as assigned

Operations & Logistics

  • Manage scheduling, venue booking, setup and teardown for all Filipino congregation activities
  • Oversee inventory, supplies, and procurement of ministry materials and equipment
  • Lead and support volunteers, including task delegation and training
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments and teams to support integrated church operations

Administrative Support

  • Maintain ministry records and databases, including attendance and volunteer lists
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and correspondence
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in ministry/ theological studies
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in operations, administration, and ministry-related roles
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with online platforms for communication and scheduling
  • Able to work on Sundays and attend occasional evening events
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Tagalog will be an added advantage
  • Able to align with and uphold the organisation's vision, mission, and core values
