Our mission is to support therapists in building meaningful connections, growing their practices, and strengthening the mental health community.</p><p>We host networking events, offer membership opportunities, facilitate professional collaboration, and continue to expand our platform to better support clinicians.</p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Marketing Manager / Strategist</strong> who understands both <strong>community-building and business growth</strong> and is excited to help expand a thriving professional network within the mental health field.</p><p><br></p>Position Overview<p>This role is ideal for a <strong>marketing professional who understands the mental and behavioral health space</strong> and enjoys thinking strategically about brand growth, partnerships, and community engagement.</p><p>The Marketing Manager will help guide and implement marketing strategies that support the continued expansion of OC Shrinks, including membership growth, event promotion, partnerships, and brand visibility.</p><p>Some responsibilities listed below are <strong>flexible and may be shared</strong>, as there is currently someone assisting with certain marketing efforts who may continue in a supporting role. The goal is to find someone who can <strong>help lead strategy and strengthen overall growth</strong>, while collaborating where appropriate.</p><p><br></p>Key Responsibilities<p>Responsibilities may include:</p><ul><li>Developing and implementing marketing strategies to grow <strong>OC Shrinks membership and community engagement</strong></li><li>Managing and optimizing <strong>email marketing campaigns</strong> (Mailchimp)</li><li>Helping plan and promote <strong>networking events, workshops, and collaborations</strong></li><li>Overseeing and scheduling <strong>social media content</strong> aligned with the OC Shrinks brand</li><li>Identifying and developing <strong>partnerships with mental health organizations, wellness brands, and local businesses</strong></li><li>Assisting with <strong>brand positioning and messaging</strong></li><li>Tracking marketing performance and suggesting improvements</li><li>Supporting growth initiatives including <strong>new membership tiers, sponsorships, and partnerships</strong></li></ul><p><em>Note: Some responsibilities may be shared or adjusted depending on the candidate’s strengths and existing team support.</em></p><p><br></p>Ideal Candidate<p>We’re looking for someone who:</p><ul><li>Has <strong>experience in marketing strategy and implementation</strong></li><li>Has <strong>knowledge of or experience working within the mental health, wellness, or healthcare space</strong></li><li>Is familiar with <strong>community-based marketing and relationship-driven growth</strong></li><li>Is organized, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative</li><li>Has experience with <strong>email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp), social media management, and event promotion</strong></li><li>Ideally has familiarity with the <strong>Orange County professional or wellness community</strong></li></ul><p><br></p>Additional Opportunity<p>While this role is focused on marketing, there may also be opportunities to collaborate with <strong>mental health professionals within the OC Shrinks network</strong>.
