Marketing Intern

Location: Woking, UK

Reporting to: Vet Digital Engagement Manager

Purpose:

The Hill’s Marketing Intern offers invaluable support to the Vet Digital Engagement manager (VDEM) with focus on two key areas:

  • Supporting the maintenance and optimisation of our vet digital ecosystem
  • Executing digital communication with excellence across CRM, social and web

This work has a direct impact on the business, helping us to increase Vet recommendation, engagement and sales in the UK and Ireland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the VDEM with implementation of product and feature updates across the ecosystem, including supporting with testing
  • Managing oversight of the Vet digital queries inbox, working as part of a wider team managing the day-to-day queries from our internal team and external customers at pace
  • Maintenance of our product portfolios across platforms
  • Managing our Professional (Vet team facing) social media accounts
  • Managing our Professional email marketing (CRM)
  • Managing POs and invoicing relating to Vet digital engagement
  • Supporting with content management for online education (Vet Academy)
  • Analysing data to report on performance of tools and communication
  • Content creation using Canva
  • Maintaining HillsVet.co.uk to ensure all content is maintained and up to date

Who we are looking for:

A collaborative team player who displays a true interest in digital engagement and marketing with enthusiasm to learn and succeed as part of the organisation

  • Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
  • Excellent in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A master in managing multiple tasks simultaneously and independently
  • A fast learner with a proactive attitude
  • Highly confident and comfortable with digital tools and platforms
  • Experience with management of digital platforms, social media and content creation would be an advantage
  • Understanding and knowledge of the veterinary industry and a passion for animal health is a plus
  • A cat or dog lover? Then you will not mind having to watch cute videos and playing with the dogs of colleagues at our office

Travel Requirements

  • May be required to visit customers or attend events across the UK with Prescription Diet brand marketing team
