Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Marketing Copy Editor to join our remote team. This is an exciting opportunity for a wordsmith with a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting engaging, error-free marketing content. As our Marketing Copy Editor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and consistency of TM Pick n Pay's brand voice across all digital and print platforms. You will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading a wide range of marketing materials, including website copy, social media posts, email campaigns, promotional materials, internal communications, and advertisements. Your expertise will ensure that all content is grammatically correct, stylistically consistent, compliant with brand guidelines, and optimized for maximum impact and clarity. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from Centenary, Mashonaland Central Province, while collaborating with a diverse marketing team based across various locations. We are looking for someone who can not only spot a misplaced comma but also understand the strategic intent behind every piece of copy, ensuring it effectively communicates our value proposition to our customers.   • Key Responsibilities
  • Edit, proofread, and fact-check all marketing and communications materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adherence to TM Pick n Pay’s brand style guide.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and messaging across all channels and content types.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators, marketing managers, and designers to refine copy and ensure it meets strategic objectives.
  • Review content for SEO best practices, readability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to improve content quality and impact.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive style guides and glossaries to ensure consistency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices in copywriting, editing, and digital marketing.
