The Community You Will Join: • arenaflex is seeking a Staff, Advanced Analytics, New Business, to lead a talented team of geographically distributed analysts • This individual will report directly to the Director, Advanced Analytics, and play a pivotal role in supporting strategic business initiatives through detailed data analysis, statistical modeling, and the development of reporting tools and metrics • This role is instrumental in driving growth across new marketplaces, working in close collaboration with the VP, Business and their team, who are partnering with Product Marketing The Difference You Will Make: • Lead and develop a high-performing team of business analysts, fostering a culture of agility and growth. • Conduct advanced data analysis and statistical modeling to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions. • Design and oversee experiments to evaluate the impact of new initiatives and strategies. • Develop critical business metrics to monitor and drive growth in new marketplaces. • Build sophisticated reporting and analytical tools that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. A Typical Day: • Work cross-functionally with Strategic Finance and Analytics, Data and Analytical Engineering, Central Strategy and Intelligence, and Data Science teams to ensure alignment and leverage synergies. • Engage with business stakeholders, including the VP Business and their team, to understand needs and provide analytical support. • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, ensuring clarity of communication and strategic alignment on analytics initiatives. Your Expertise: • A quantitative (economics, statistics, math, data science, etc) undergraduate degree with a strong preference for candidates holding an MBA or equivalent advanced degree. • 10+ years experience in a related field with deep technical expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytics tools. • A minimum of 2 years as a people manager leading a team. • Robust business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments. • Experience managing and mentoring a team of business analysts, with a proven track record of team development. • Prior experience in business analytics within a marketplace or tech-centric business environment. • Outstanding communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner. • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions. • An agile, growth-minded approach, demonstrated through a history of driving projects from ideation to impact.
