Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
  • Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to support seasonal offerings and special events
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Handle food with care, utilizing proper knife skills and cooking techniques to optimize flavor and texture
  • Support catering services by preparing large quantities of food efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
  • Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste

Experience

  • Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements
  • Proven culinary experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments, showcasing advanced food preparation skills
  • Strong background in food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations within the food industry
