JOB SUMMARY

As a Legal Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for internet research, speaking with clients and doctors about significant legal matters regarding medical expert witness and consulting. Legal Nurse Consultants combine their knowledge with their clinical experience and medical education to help legal cases progress.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Have a current and thorough understanding of healthcare standards
  • Outreach to and communication with physicians, nurses and other medical experts
  • Dialoguing with candidates about our firm and how we work with experts
  • Matching experts with case opportunities
  • Telephone support for experts and attorneys
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution, as necessary
  • Responsible for interacting with and responding to attorneys nationwide who are in search of expert witnesses.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records on each case
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BS Nursing and Certified Registered Nurse
  • Legal Nurse Consulting Certified
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal consulting field
  • Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skill with direct reports, peers, superiors (cross functional and throughout the organization), customers, vendors, and other partners.
  • Strong computer skills; ability to navigate through the Internet, MS Office, and email.
  • Ability to analyze, initiate and implement plans and strategies to achieve goals.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet critical deadlines.
