Legal Admin Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant / Legal Administrative Assistant to support an Australian-based client in the legal sector.

This role is best suited for a highly organized professional with a legal background or prior experience in a law firm. You will be comfortable managing court-related schedules, handling legal documentation, and tracking high-priority deadlines. As a key support person, your primary goal is to ensure matters run smoothly and nothing slips through the cracks.

Please note: This is not a paralegal or legal advice role. The focus is strictly on legal administration, coordination, and dedicated personal assistant support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Deadline Management: Manage and maintain court dates, hearings, and legal deadlines. Set up and monitor strict calendar reminders for filings, appearances, and follow-ups.
  • Document Control: Organize and maintain case files and legal documents securely and efficiently.
  • Drafting & Formatting: Assist with drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal correspondence and documents.
  • Communication Hub: Coordinate seamless communication between lawyers, clients, and external parties.
  • PA Support: Provide comprehensive personal assistant support, including proactive inbox and calendar management.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare summaries, notes, and follow-up action items from legal matters and meetings.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Ensure all administrative tasks are handled accurately, professionally, and on time.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of legal processes, court timelines, and legal documentation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working during Australian business hours to support Australian-based professionals.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience supporting Australian legal practitioners.
  • Exposure to specific practice areas such as litigation, family law, commercial law, or conveyancing.
  • Prior experience specifically in a Legal PA or Legal Admin role.
  • Familiarity with standard legal document management systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php450.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
