Junior Data Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a
Junior Data Analyst
to support large-scale asset data projects and data migration initiatives as we evolve into an
AI-native, data-driven platform company
. This role will work closely with our product, engineering, and project teams to ensure high-quality data for asset management, reporting, and future AI analytics use cases.

This is a
1-year contract role
, ideal for
fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience
who want hands-on exposure to real enterprise data projects.

  • Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewal based on performance & project needs)
  • Location: On-site in Iskandar Puteri
  • Salary: RM3,000 per month

What you'll do

  • Support data preparation activities including
    data cleaning, standardization, validation, and enrichment
  • Assist in
    data migration and consolidation
    from multiple sources into centralized systems
  • Perform
    data quality checks
    to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of datasets
  • Analyze datasets to identify
    patterns, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Support
    dashboarding, reporting, and analytics
    for operational and management use cases
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and project teams to understand
    data requirements and business logic
  • Maintain
    data documentation
    , including data definitions, mappings, and standard formats
  • Assist in preparing datasets for
    advanced analytics and AI-related initiatives
  • Support
    data research for product enhancements
    , analytics dashboards, and AI readiness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of
    data processes and governance practices

What we're looking for

  • Degree in
    Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
  • Fresh graduate or
    up to 2 years of experience
    in data-related roles
  • Comfortable working with
    Excel / Google Sheets
  • Basic understanding of
    data cleaning, validation, and analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Willing to work with large datasets

Good-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Basic knowledge of
    SQL
  • Exposure to
    asset management, CMMS, or enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with
    Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Interest in
    AI, data analytics, and data-driven products
